Why Dome

Dome International Schools, founded in 2016, are governed by a Board of Directors. Dome is an international education services provider offering a wide range of standardized and recognized programs and services to the community in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Dome started its journey on the 18th of September, 2016 with only 600 learners. Today, with its strategic partnerships &visionary leadership has become 1,867 strong. Dome is the largest British Councils’ partner in Riyadh Region along with being the largest College Board Testing Center as well. Now, a partner of IELTS from the British Council as well, Dome is now an exclusive IELTS preparation & examination center.

Dome is also the largest International School in Riyadh offering full K – AS/A Levels – Cambridge Curriculum with CAIE standards rigorously being followed.

Dome as an international school offers American & British Curricula. The American curriculum is embedded in the international Foundation Program (FP) for grades K-7, Orientation Program for grade 8 & the American Diploma Program (ADP) SAT for grades 9-12. The British Curriculum is embedded in the Reception in KG 2, Cambridge Primary for grades KG3 to 5 & Secondary Program for grades 6-10 and Advanced Level for grades 11 & 12. The medium of instruction is English.

‘’Dome takes pride in running complete American and Cambridge curricula (K-12) accredited by COGNIA and Cambridge respectively. We are the testing center for many international benchmarking exams including but not limited to IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, IGCSE, AS, A2, etc.

Our community of 1,867 is extremely diverse, drawing learners from 26 nationalities. (Americans, British, Arabs, Chinese, South Americans, Australians, Canadians, Africans …) Our 204 educators are from 13 nationalities; our staff of 100 is from 12 nationalities. Most learners’ families represent the non-government and diplomatic sectors with international and local businesses also well represented. Inclusion is vital to who we are.
